Shirley Temlpe´s Diamond Ring Goes To Auction

Sotheby´s will auction the diamond ring in April. The Ring, Shirley Temple got from her father when she was 12 years old, will come to Sotheby´s auction in April.  The Price will start at 25 million USD (600 million CZK). Temple became a first ambassador of Czechoslovakia after 1989; she acted in that position from 1992. 

Temple started to act when she was only four years old and when she was nine, she had high incomes. In 1940 her father bought her a ring for 7210 USD with ninecarat blue diamond.

A Privat collector who bought it in that time, put it into auction now. The Auction will be held in New York on 19th April and according to experts the price could climb up to 35 million USD.

Her family has already sold many Temple´s personal items including dress she wore in 1935 when awarding Oscars. She was seven and she received a prize for a child actor. 

After leaving film industry, she had built a carrier in diplomacy.  She acted as an ambassador in Ghana and Czechoslovakia. She died in 2014 in 85 years old.
